The rural tourism centre 'El urogallo' is located in the centre of Murias de Paredes. It is built in a 19th century traditional stone house with slate roof, typical of the Omana region.

The house, built on three levels has 24 beds. On the ground floor there is a reception area, restaurant and lounge with an open fire. On the first floor there are four double rooms and a quadruple room, all with en-suite bathroom. On the second floor there is a triple bedroom and a separate apartment that sleeps six in two separate bedrooms and has a separate
sitting room and en-suite bathroom. All the bedrooms have views to the valley, the river Omana and a beech wood.

The house is surrounded by a landscaped garden with trees and bushes typical of this region The house has gas central heating and it is equipped with tv, video, dvd and a hi-fi.

The restaurant, for guests only, serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Lunches and dinners need to be booked in advance.

The house can also be booked for meetings and social events.
Animals are welcome in the garden although not in the building
